A Drawn Host, Not a Real Person
Naomi Sterling is a drawn character, made in an anime style. She is not a real person. She does not work for Starlight Casino or any other casino, and she never gambles. Her name signs every page because the guide wanted one steady, calm voice from start to finish.
Her job is to walk you through a first visit, one step at a time. Where she appears, she points at the tool to start with or holds up a sign with the key fact of the section. On every casino page, that sign shows how far the venue sits from central New Westminster in a straight line.
The whole guide is written for people who have never set foot in a casino. Nothing on these pages assumes you already know the words, the rules or the room.
How Hours and Addresses Are Checked
Every hour, address and phone number on this site comes from one of two places: the casino's own pages or BCLC's pages. BCLC is the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. For each fact, the editors keep a note of the source and the date it was checked. Distances are straight lines between two points on a map. They are not road distances, and they say nothing about drive times.
Anything that cannot be confirmed is left out. That is why some answers here are simply a phone number. For Starlight Casino, that number is 604-777-2946, and a call there can settle what the guide does not list. This edition of the guide dates from October 2026.
